Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Justine Gera has extensive training in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, ballet, jazz-funk, commercial heels, and musical theatre. She has trained and worked throughout Canada, the United States, and London, England. Justine now resides in Los Angeles with an 0-1 Visa & is often back and forth between Canada and the U.S. for work. 

 

Justine began her professional dance work in Vancouver with Patrick Roberge Productions gracing the massive stages of the 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremony, Pacific National Exhibition, the International Olympic Committee, and more! She has also danced in industrials for Telus and New Balance. She continued on as a Triple Threat Dance Convention tour assistant to world class choreographers where she had the opportunity to assist all across Canada and the U.S.

 

Justine’s notable film & television credits include a featured character & chorus performer for the AppleTV+ musical theatre series; Schmigadoon! (Season 2), Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist’ and The Voice (NBC), Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (Paramount+), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (CW), Christmas Chronicles 2 (Netflix), Motherland: Fort Salem (Freeform), and the Disney Channel original movies Freaky Friday and Descendants 2.

 

Other credits include dancing in music videos for Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, Charlie Puth, Fletcher, & Grace Gaustad, as well as assistant choreographer to Jillian Meyers for the Lindsey Stirling ‘Artemis’ World Tour & various music videos. Justine works as assistant choreographer to Zachary Venegas on numerous & ongoing projects such as Sabrina Claudio's "Put On Repeat" & Marshmello x Tokischa's "Estilazo" music videos, ‘The Sims’ “Pass The Spark” global commercial featuring latin artist Anitta, World of Dance, TMILLY TV, CLI Studios, Dancerpalooza, CARNIVAL, as well as movement coaching various recording artists in LA. Justine has worked extensively with upcoming latin-pop group “Sweet Taboo,” in preparation for their television debut on NBC’s American Song Contest. 

 

Justine works on the production team at Royal Caribbean International, but in previous years has completed three contracts as a performer on the Voyager, Navigator, and as an aqua cast member on the Harmony of the Seas. She has worked as an assistant/associate choreographer to Zachary Venegas; working extensively in Miami and on board for Odyssey, Spectrum, Navigator, and Allure of the Seas. Justine continues to work as a rehearsal choreographer learning additional shows including, Wonder of the Sea's InTENse Aqua Show as well as working as the RCCL audition choreographer across the U.S. and Canada.

 

Justine continues to teach classes & workshops all over North America.
